Low Jitter OPAW Oscillators

The new River Eletec oscillators represent the state of the art in frequency source technology. Tailored for a variety of applications including ADCs, DACs, SERDES, GPUs, FPGAs, and CPUs, their innovative design features exceptionally low jitter, novel high fundamental frequency quartz MEMS resonators, and outstanding stability over a wide temperature range. These advanced oscillators are available in a range of frequencies from 100 MHz to 1 GHz, with jitter performance as low as 5 femtoseconds over a 12 kHz to 20 MHz bandwidth.


KCRO-1409 Sine Wave

  • Output frequencies available from 500 MHz to 1 GHz.

  • The resonator frequency is the same as the oscillator output frequency.

  • SPXO or VCXO available

  • SPXO Jitter: 5 femtoseconds (12 kHz to 20 MHz)

  • VCXO Jitter: 7 femtoseconds (12 kHz to 20 MHz)

  • Phase Noise: -140 dBc @ 10 kHz offset

  • Temperature Stability: +/- 20 ppm -40/+85 C or +/- 30 ppm -40/+125 C

  • Temperature Stability: +/- 20 ppm -40/+85 C or +/- 30 ppm -40/+125 C (inclusive of initial tolerance at 25 C and power supply variations, first year of aging)
